Graphic Designer
JOB BRIEF
We are looking for a Creative Graphic Designer with experience in both print and electronic media to join our team.
You must be someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs.
Our ideal Graphic Designer must have up-to-date knowledge to interpret our clients’ needs and to design solutions with high visual impact.
You will work on a variety of products, including Corporate Branding, Signage, Books, Magazines, Product Packaging, Online Design, Exhibitions, Corporate Identity etc. and you will cooperate with our designers and sales team.
We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to hit the ground running as soon as we bring on a new client or project.
Applicants with experience leading creative teams and designing with other professionals will be given prime consideration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing rough drafts and presenting your ideas
Taking the design “brief” to record requirements and clients needs
Working with a wide range of media and using graphic design software
Amending final designs to clients comments and gaining full approval
Working simultaneously on 5+ projects based on current client workload
Scheduling project implementation and defining budget constraints
Working as part of a team with copywriters, designers, stylists, executives etc.
Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts
REQUIREMENTS
Proven graphic designing experience
Exceptional creativity and innovation
Accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (CorelDraw, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc)
QUALIFICATION
Must be talented and highly skillful.
Academic qualification is not compulsory
Bachelor degree or HND in any field will be an advantage.
