Customer Service Officer
JOB BRIEF
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to provide excellent customer service and to promote this idea throughout our organization.
Our ideal candidate must be able to keep the department running in an efficient and profitable manner.
Must be naturally friendly and have the experience to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to meet their expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries
Generating sales leads that develop into new customers
Maintaining an orderly workflow according to priorities
Following communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Improving customer service experience and go the extra mile to engage customers
Taking ownership of customers’ issues and follow problems through to resolution
Providing accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Building sustainable relationships and trust with customer through open and interactive communication
Handling customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, then follow up to ensure resolution
REQUIREMENTS
Customer Service orientation
Ability to think strategically and to lead
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in providing customer service support
Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications
Proven working experience as a Customer Service Officer or Front desk officer
Customer orientation and ability to adapt / respond to different types of characters
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
